Home-style, varied cuisine, delicious food, impolite service. Had to wait 15 minutes until an overwhelmed waiter asked what I wanted, was prepared and had already chosen something online, because I didn't see a menu either ... it was because I was a single woman at a table of four ?

So good, so traditional! ❤️ My Bavarian heart blossoms! I've been living in Deggendorf for a year now, but I've never heard a lot from the dumpling thrower. That will have to be made up for in the next few months. Worth every penny! I hope I can take red cabbage or dumplings with sauce with me if I bring my own can! Unfortunately I don't always have the time to sit comfortably there - but I don't want to miss this fantastic meal! And as a former waitress, I really have to give HUGE praise here. No clearance, here we still check whether the guest is missing anything. With such a service, it's not just about going out to eat, but an hour's break and pure enjoyment.

I do not want to rate the restaurant here, but rather the reviews of the opponents of the MASK, I know myself, just as much bypasses the reviews as the comments of the opponents of the mask. Dear mask opponents, it may take a minute to get from the restaurant door to the (presumably) assigned seat, if you are so "sick" that you cannot put on a mask in this short time, then I would, in the current times , for the sake of my health, do not go to any place Nonetheless, because of all the objective evaluations and, what is very important to me as a risk clientele, because of the compliance with the prescribed hygiene concept, I will visit the restaurant today

The menu doesn't do much credit to the restaurant name. Not enough typical dishes. But what we got was all of decent quality. The portion of roast pork a little tight. All in all satisfied.

Unfortunately, people who cannot wear mouth and nose protection for health reasons are not allowed to go to this restaurant. A certificate is not accepted here, was the statement of an employee. I will never go back to this place in my life.

On September 28th, 2020 I unfortunately witnessed discrimination against several people who are not allowed to wear a mask for health reasons. You were vehemently denied access or the way to a free table by an employee. The restaurant was well filled at this point, but since we are dealing with an intelligent virus, thank goodness it does not affect the seated people, but only those walking and standing .... I will therefore draw the conclusions and not enter this restaurant in the future.

Wanted to eat there yesterday, unfortunately people with a certificate (exemption from the mask) are not served. What really is discrimination. A waitress was still very, very nice and apologized for your instructions from "above". A young waiter, on the other hand, has acted like an assistant sheriff. You should avoid such places!

Good location. I'll go in there. Well staffed. Something different food and very tasty. Friendly service and, as I found out later, very well known in the village and the surrounding area. It was worth it. Thanks to all.

We had roast pork and dumplings with coleslaw. I can highly recommend it. The staff and the waitresses were very friendly. If we're in the area we'd love to go back. Next time I will definitely try the homemade cakes, looked very tasty.

The food was good. At these prices I would have expected a little more. The staff was nice. You can go out to eat here for a cozy evening.

Great location and friendly staff. The food was also very good. A star deduction, as it says on the menu that it is not possible to change the insert. Allegedly due to a lack of staff, I can't understand that and don't find it very customer-friendly either.

Everything great. Very friendly waitresses who are on their toes and keep asking whether everything is okay or something is missing. My onion roast was a poem. There is no other way to describe it. The fried potatoes with it were sharp and really hearty. Very clear recommendation for a stop.

The name of the restaurant was decisive for the visit. :) A very nice locality. The service is friendly and quick. The food looks great and has a very good taste. We recommend.

As always, very good. Super Service, Great lunch selection, There were five of us and we could all eat at the same time. Price / performance ratio is also right. Great.

Certainly one of the first houses in Deggendorf. Good middle-class fare in a historical ambience at a fair price. We are happy every time we end up here!

Very tasty food and nice indoor and outdoor areas. Service was very nice and drinks and food brought quickly. Prices were reasonable and the hygiene concepts were adhered to.

Were eating at the dumpling inn today and we enjoyed it. We ordered roast pork and roast suckling pig, both with dumplings and coleslaw, plus 2 cyclists. The drinks were quickly at the table and the food came quickly. The waitress who took our order was very nice and in between she and even her colleague asked whether everything was OK and that although there was a lot going on. That's how it should be. But the poor waitresses have to glow in the evening at walking speed and all with a mouthguard. We then paid € 32.80, which is absolutely fine. We would love to come back again.

I had only ice-cream from this place. It was really good.

Traditional bavarian Gasthaus. Friendly staff and good food for a normal price. In the summer they have a nice place outside where you can enjoy your meal or just good bavarian beer or a coffee.

The best Wiener schnitzel in the entire Bavaria vacation was here. Excellent cuisine, nice service and good price - performance ratio. That's how it should be. The food was brought quickly. Great new clean sanitary area on the 1st floor. Absolute recommendation!

Never gonna visit it again. The personal is always ignoring. Have been waiting for my food for 45 min and they actually have forgotten about it.
